Hespo Home Fair 2021- An event filled with thankfulness and inspiration for the future

What is the secret behind decades of successful business? For Hespo in Croatia, it has always revolved around customer focus – constantly examining the market and asking for feedback from customers that ultimately shape priorities.

This is part of Hespo's philosophy which recently celebrated its' 30-year anniversary. To celebrate this occasion, the team in Croatia recently gathered all its' business partners for a two-day Home Fair in Zagreb's Plaza Event Center. It was an opportunity for networking, but also for 'measuring' partner satisfaction with the current Hespo range, as well as an opportunity to hear first-hand what the market demands for this particular segment. Members from the Hilding Anders Group also presented new products created in the New Product Development department to business partners.

Hespo's products have been brought to Croatians' homes for three decades through retail partners and many other smaller customers - all of whom Hilding Anders wanted to thank during this event. At the same time, the team wanted to hear about customer needs, all in order to define the future direction of business and innovations that will come out of Hespo's production plant in Prelog. Hilding Anders employs almost 700 people who produce around 200 thousand mattresses, 140 thousand floorboards, thousands of the most comfortable beds and other sleeping assortment every year.

“A big part of the business we do within Hilding Anders is related to our wholesale partners. Hespo followed a reverse logic from the Perfecta Dreams brand: First we had our partners with whom we developed the brand and who represented us in the market. Then only two years ago we took the decision to open up our own retail stores and today we have 14 own Hespo stores. In addition to large customers, such as Jysk, Lesnina, Harvey Norman, Conforam, Pevex we have a wide array of loyal independent customers who have been instrumental in the brand's success since the early 90s. Some of these independent customers have become our franchises, which means that they are still building our brand with us”, commented Renata Potočnik, director of wholesale at Hilding Anders.
