First Class Swiss Sleep

Passengers travelling First Class with SWISS can enjoy in-flight first-class BICO sleep comfort. The innovative mattress solution that SWISS first used in 2015 in its Airbus A340 airlines has been developed by BICO in cooperation with FoamPartner.

Driven by very good feedback from their onboard guests, SWISS extended this partnership and placed multiple orders for its first-class cabins over the last years, not just for the A340 but for all models within its fleet.

This innovative mattress solution, ViscoPore, is based on a washable mattress with a core of visco-elastic polyurethane foam. ViscoPore adapts to all body shapes and creates a pleasantly dry bed climate. The mattress cover consists of 60% polyester and 40% Lyocell, a material which controls temperature and moisture excellently.
