Bico extends DTC footprint with store in Lucerne

Bico, the number one bed brand in Switzerland, has provided people of Switzerland with quality beds and mattresses since its founding in 1861. From the Swiss pioneer in sleep expertise to the industry leader, Bico has stood for Swiss values since the beginning. As a truly traditional brand, the Bico team pride themselves on the meticulous production at its own production facility in Schänis and have maintained strong partnerships throughout Switzerland for many years.

For decades it catered to consumers in Switzerland solely through traditional brick-and-mortar retail partnerships and a few years ago, back in 2019, Bico set out to start operating its own retail, opening its first showroom in Schänis next to its production facility. Within two years the brand had extended its’ footprint two stores in Zurich and Bern.

In 2024, Bico took another important step in its journey by opening a state-of-the-art DTC retail store in the city of Lucerne.

Lucerne residents can now receive expert advice on restful sleep from Bico team members. After a comprehensive needs analysis, the experts will present individual sleep solutions on site. There is also the opportunity to try out a variety of products such as mattresses, slatted frames, box-spring beds.
